Down South CaJJun Eats was founded by twin brothers Jahmaal and Jermaine Dumes in the Spring of 2017. While studying at Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX, they decided to take a leap of faith. Originally from Beaumont, TX, they felt they needed to bring a taste of home to Austin, Texas. And that was CRAWFISH!
I came from Philly and visited, and it was an incredible experience! The food was absolutely amazing, the drinks were delicious, and the atmosphere was full of energy. The owners were so welcoming, and the music added the perfect vibe. Overall, it was a fantastic time, and I can't wait to go back!
I had no idea what to expect. They had 3 DJ's on deck and I mean top of the line. The frozen drinks are very tasty and the Peach Bellini was my favorite. I will also recommend the egg roll appetizer. Yummy!
Had brunch today and it was amazing. So good we went back for dinner tonight and it was even better. Great service, great food, great people, and great DJ.
This was the best spot we went to while on vacation. The food was delicious. The drinks were amazing! The service was awesome! We will be back!
